During the 50s this decade Paris again became the world capital of fashion , which experienced a revival starring big names like Jacques Heim , Chanel, Schiaparelli , Balenciaga – whom the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum monographic exhibition devoted ” Balenciaga . The design of the limit (2010 ) ” – or Jacques Fath , followed by Balmain , Christian Dior, Jacques Griffe , Hubert de Givenchy and Pierre Cardin . All contributed to the lasting prestige of French fashion , synonymous with luxury, elegance and creativity, and also the efforts to bring its achievements to the ready-to-wear .
